Success Vs. Mediocrity

Do you have a vision for your practice?  Do you have the work ethic, the drive, and the motivation to succeed?  Do you have a passion to help shape the new changing medical paradigm?

You should, because these things are the fuel for Functional Medicine success.  When I first started my practice, I focused on gluten sensitivity.  This was 12 years ago, so you can imagine the ridicule and skepticism I received from doctors and patients alike.   This was at a time before gluten free diets became a house hold word.  It was my drive, motivation, vision, work ethic, and passion for the truth to be told that helped me shape one of the country’s top functional medicine practices.  These qualities also allowed me to build an online and social media community that to date has reached more than a million people.

What is Your Functional Medicine Passion?

This is one of the most important questions you need to answer before achieving success.  Without passion comes burn out and mediocrity.  As the old saying goes, “if you love what you do, then it is not work.”  Defining what you are passionate about will help focus your time, energy, and efforts toward success while providing you with a very fulfilling lifestyle.  All you have to do is look around you.  Who are the most successful people?  The one’s who are passionate about what they do.  Cases in point –

  • Tony Robbins
  • Michael Jordan
  • Joel Olsteen
  • Dr. Oz
  • Dr. BJ Palmer
  • Dr. Mark Hyman

What are you passionate about?

The following video applies to us all.  This man picked passion over daily precedence.  He chose a harder path, but at the end of the day reaped a greater reward spiritually and financially.

Wishing you success,
